Exponential stabilization via tracking convergent rate in load frequency control of multi-area power systems with diverse communication delays

摘要
In this paper, the problem of exponential stabilization is studied for a model of load frequency control of multi-area interconnected power systems with input delays in the control channel. By utilizing a weighted Lyapunov–Krasovskii scheme, tractable analysis and design conditions of a state feedback controller that makes the closed-loop system exponentially stable with a prescribed decay rate are derived in the framework of linear matrix inequalities. The effectiveness of the design schemes proposed in this paper is validated by simulations of a two-area power model.
