摘要
Abstract: An energy-absorbing chair with reversible adaptation is described. The seat and backrest are made of polyvinyl formal foam, a hygroscopic material that changes its configuration to conform to the user’s body. The rigidity of the foam depends on its moisture content. Recommendations are made regarding the use of the chair. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
