Versions are proposed of the formation of the molecules of the multi-component compounds that alloy the elementary semiconductors in the low-temperature crystallization of the solid solutions with the subnano- and nano-defects. The possibilities for the realization of the extrinsic thermophotovoltaic effect in the photocells that are based on GaSb and Ge and are alloyed with the narrow-band semiconductor compounds are discussed. © 2007 Allerton Press, Inc.
