Electrochemical deposition of copper from CuSO4 + HNO3 (in excess) solution on a vertical electrode under conditions of natural convection is considered. It this case the mass coefficient ∂ρ/∂\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document} $$c_{{\text{CuSO}}_{\text{4}} } $$ \end{document} in the expression for the limiting current is replaced by the mass coefficient corresponding to cupric nitrate.
