On the propagation of a paraxial beam of charged particles in an external electromagnetic field

A small-angle approximation method as applied to a curvilinear beam of relativistic particles in mutually orthogonal uniform magnetic and nonuniform electric fields is elaborated. Analytical solutions to the paraxial equation for curvilinear beams of charged particles are obtained.
