Abstract: A scheme is proposed for a specialized analog processor that uses a microwave photonics correlation receiver in the form of a matched filter to treat an ultra-wideband microwave signal. The operation of such a filter is investigated numerically, and its characteristics (potential performance and the accuracy of identifying the position of the maximum of the output signal) are determined. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
