摘要
Modern processes for manufacturing agglomerated fuel by continuous coking of weakly caking coals, briquetting followed by heat treatment, hot briquetting, pyrolytic agglomeration, and other methods have been surveyed. Experimental data on granulation of thermally upgraded fine (particle size less than 13 mm) coals from the Vorkutinskaya mine (OAO Vorkutaugol’) and the Moscow basin are presented. The physical, mechanical, physicochemical, burning, and environmental characteristics of the granulated fuel obtained have been assessed in comparison with the properties of sized coals from the Pechora and Moscow basins.
