We propose a procedure for the numerical evaluation of the frequencies of free vibrations of spherical belts with circular and longitudinal ribs, determine those frequencies, and study the influence of the parameters of the ribs on the natural frequencies of free vibrations of shell structures reinforced by ribs. © 1998 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
