摘要
The present work demonstrates the structural and luminescence properties of Dy3+-doped La2(MoO4)3 phosphor samples. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed the phase purity, crystal structure and crystallite sizes of the prepared phosphors. Furthermore, the photoluminescence emission spectra of the synthesized phosphor materials were monitored under excitation with 387 nm and the prominent emission bands noticed at 482 nm (blue), 574 nm (yellow) and 664 nm (red) corresponding to the 4F9/2 → 6HJ (J = 15/2, 13/2 and 11/2) electronic transitions of Dy3+ ions. In addition, the influence of doped Dy3+ content on photoluminescence characteristics of the host material has been examined also the mean decay lifetimes were studied for the prepared Dy3+: La2(MoO4)3 phosphors. The chromaticity co-ordinates of all the synthesized phosphors were pointed in white light region. Hence, all the outcomes suggest that, as prepared single phased monoclinic Dy3+: La2(MoO4)3 phosphors is well suitable for white light-emitting diodes.
