摘要
Evolution of the flow field around a circular cylinder and a sphere instantaneously starting with a constant supersonic velocity (M∞ = 5 and Re = 105) from the state at rest is studied by means of numerical integration of unsteady two‐dimensional Navier–Stokes equations.
