Analyzing efficacy of indocyanine green in pediatric thoracoscopic procedures based on a non-systematic review

A non-systematic review of Pubmed was performed to evaluate the use of Indocyanine green (ICG) in paediatric thoracoscopic procedures. Six studies were identified as of August 2023, with results available in children aged between 1 day and 14 years. Four reports identified the use in thoracoscopic metastasectomy, three in patients with hepatoblastoma with metastases and one with osteosarcoma. The number of published reports with regards to the application of ICG in thoracoscopy are limited in the pediatric age group.
