Basic trends in development of domestic systems of electrolytic protection against corrosion of ships, vessels, and offshore structures are presented. Criteria of the electrochemical protection of structural shipbuilding metal materials against corrosive and corrosive-mechanical decay in seawater are considered. New anodic and protection materials, anodes, and protectors developed at CRISM Prometey and implementation of cathodic protection based on the above materials for shipbuilding, the fleet, and the national economy are considered. © 2015, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
