The description of the equipment of the combined-cycle power plant CCPP-400, operated at the Shatura power station, is given. The thermal characteristics of the equipment of the CCPP obtained as a result of processing operating modes are presented: gas turbine unit (GTU), heat-recovery steam generator (HRSG), steam turbine (ST), and power unit as a whole; their features are analyzed. The dependencies of the main thermal characteristics of GTU, HRSG, and ST on the determining factors are graphically shown. The comparison of thermal characteristics obtained after the power unit was put into operation and after 10 years of active operation is performed. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.
