In this paper, we apply the circle method to study the average behavior of the triple divisor function over values of quadratic form n12+n22+⋯+nl2\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$ {n}_1^2+{n}_2^2+\cdots +{n}_l^2 $$\end{document} with l ⩾ 3. We improve and generalize previous results.
