摘要
We examined career locus of control (CLOC) as a moderator in calling and career commitment among 481 Chinese college students. Hierarchical regression indicated that powerful others’ control and chance control weakened calling’s relationship with career commitment. A person-centered cluster analysis identified four clusters: (1) high internal and high/moderate external, (2) low internal and high external, (3) high internal and low external, and (4) low internal and low external. Calling was positively correlated with career commitment for individuals in clusters 1 and 4, but the correlations were not significant among individuals in clusters 2 and 3.
