摘要：
The splitting of a cracked orthotropic strip by opposed wedging forces is solved by Fourier transform and Wiener–Hopf methods. Models for brittle and ductile materials are obtained from a general constraint on applied loads. New asymptotic and numerical methods yield simple formulas for the results.
