The structure of fullerene C60 films modified by helium glow discharge plasma

摘要
The structure of fullerene C60 films modified by helium dc glow discharge plasma was studied using Raman scattering spectroscopy. The vibrational spectra of the C60 films exhibit certain features depending on the plasma treatment duration. The helium ion bombardment leads to the degradation of the fullerene structure and the formation of an amorphous carbon phase. The coefficient of carbon sputtering by helium was estimated.
