We describe the experience process engineers of the All-Russia Thermal Engineering Institute have gained with development of automated control systems for thermal and nuclear power units, including technological elaboration of equipment operating modes, statement of tasks relating to control of transients, and checking and optimization of algorithms with the use of mathematical models. © 2009 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
