摘要
A radioisotope method for assessing the extent of damage in heat-resistant chrome and aluminum coatings is developed. The physical concept of the method involves determination of the coating thickness by measuring radioisotope γ-and β-radiation. The applicability of the method to testing the surface damage of gas-turbine blades was checked. The tests showed that the proposed method enables detection of flawed coating segments and assessment of the degree of their reliability.
