Competitive Adsorption of 3He and 4He to Carbon Nanotube Bundles

摘要
We have studied the competitive adsorption of the two helium isotopes to single-walled carbon nanotube bundles. It is observed that the presence of 4He suppresses subsequent 3He adsorption while the presence of 3He has little influence on the subsequent adsorption of 4He. These observations are generally consistent with expectations based on the difference in the masses of the isotopes.
