Rapid synthesis of MCM-41 and SBA-15 by microwave irradiation: promising adsorbents for CO2 adsorption

摘要
MCM-41 and SBA-15 were synthesized in 1 h at 60 and 80 °C by microwave irradiation.Heating by microwave irradiation is an efficient tool to be used in the synthesis of silica.Pure silicas synthesized by microwave irradiation are promising adsorbents for CO2 adsorption.The CO2 adsorption capacity of silicas decreases with increasing temperature.
