摘要
Diosgenin prevented cholesterol gallstone formation.Diosgenin could directed inhibited of STAT3 mediated transcription of Npc1l1 gene.Diosgenin could also modulate gut microbiota-LPS mediated STAT3 activation.Diosgenin inhibited intestinal cholesterol absorption, thereby, lowered cholesterol in liver and bile.
