摘要
It is shown that coatings with high blackness applied to the hot-front wall surface of recuperators make it possible to increase the temperature of heated air and to reduce the organic fuel rate in a furnace equipped with the appropriate recuperator. Spectral blackness curves for ceramic coatings applied to refractory materials and heat-resistant steels are measured in the range of 0.75 – 9.0 μm, and the advantages of using the coatings to improve performance of ceramic and steel-made radiation recuperators are discussed.
