摘要：
An algorithm was developed for calculating optimal glass annealing schedules for batch-type and continuous annealing units subject to the capabilities of a particular unit and the constraints imposed by temporary and residual stresses. The criterion chosen for the optimization is the throughput of the annealing unit which is in turn determined by the duration of the annealing operation or the rate of travel of the ware through the annealing lehr.
