Induction of resistance of near-isogenic lines of common wheat cultivar thatcher to leaf rust Puccinia triticina Eriks. under the effect of benzimidazole

摘要
Induction of resistance under the effect of benzimidazole is shown by using the method of infecting intact plants and leaf segments of 27 near-isogenic lines of cultivar Thatcher carrying various leaf rust resistance Lr genes. It is shown that induction depends on the particular resistance gene, pathogen clone, and benzimidazole concentration.
