We study theoretically the fidelities of output coherent images in incoherent-to-coherent conversion based on photorefractive two-wave mixing in the presence of an incoherent image-bearing beam. A vector version of the whole beam split step method is developed. The dependencies of the fidelities of output coherent images on geometric and physical parameters such as the incident direction of the beams, the intensity ratios between the beams, and coupling coefficients are investigated in detail.
