The method of x-ray diffraction analysis is used to study the process of oxidation of titanium hydride powder during its heat treatment (annealing) in a temperature range of 450–550°C with up to 30-h hold. The functional relation between the relative intensity of x-ray diffraction lines and the annealing parameters is determined.
