摘要
Eukaryotic cytoplasmic mRNA-containing ribonucleoproteins (mRNPs), which were named informosomes when discovered, have intensely been investigated as various mRNP granules in the past decade. The review considers the structure and functioning of mRNPs. The mRNA status depends on spectrum of RNA-bound proteins and changes in response to signals from signaling pathways.
