摘要
A novel polymeric blend has been developed by blending polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with epoxy-modified polyamide (PA11-g-GMA). The blend shows high dielectric constants (Kblend = 38), which give better frequency stability (1 MHz) and excellent mechanical properties. Based on certain volume fractions, the measured dielectric properties were found to exceed the corresponding polymers contrasted with conventional composites. Adding GMA decreased the dielectric loss and increased the dielectric constant. Studies show that the compatibilizer plays a dominant role in determining the dielectric behavior of nanocomposites. GMA reduces the phase separation between neighboring PA11 and PVDF by causing molecular chain incorporation, which endows the nanocomposites with stable and high dielectric constants and low dielectric loss. The TEM investigations suggest that the enhanced dielectric behavior originates from significant interfacial interactions between polymers. The XRD demonstrates that the compatibilizer affects the crystalline behavior of each component. Furthermore, the stable dielectric constants of the nanocomposites can be tuned by adjusting the content of the compatibilizer.
