Two-particle photodisintegration of the 3He and 3H nuclei in a relativistic approach with a strictly conserved EM current

A method for constructing the covariant amplitude of two-particle photodisintegration of a nonlocal matter field while fulfilling the gauge invariance requirement, which follows from the property of inseparability of the electric charge from mass and leads to the coordination of actions of the four-momentum and the charge conservations laws, is proposed. It is shown how one may introduce a photon into the outer ends of a three-point diagram and a strongly connected vertex. The proposed approach is used to perform calculations for the case of disintegration of the 3He nucleus. The results are compared with the experimental data. The behavior of the energy dependence of Σ asymmetry for the γ3H → nd process at neutron escape angle θn = 90° is predicted. © 2015, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
