摘要
The equation of bending of a heavy rod is used to study the problem of stability of a rotor-type drilling column. We deduce the equation for the critical length in the case of tension-compression and perform a numerical analysis of the critical length as a function of the level of tension in the pulley block of a WIRTH drilling rig. © 2002 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
