摘要
The overtone gain medium of a small-scale HF overtone laser was probed using a sub-Doppler tunable diode laser. Two-dimensional spatially resolved small signal gain and temperature maps were generated for several ro-vibrational transitions in the HF (v=2→v=0) overtone band. Our results compare well with previous measurements of the overtone gain in a similar HF laser device.
