摘要
A problem on effective elastic properties of a stochastic unidirectional fibrous composite is considered. The imperfect interface contact of matrix and cylindrical fibers is assumed to simulate the presence of porous interphase layers between the matrix and cylindrical fibers, which are considered to be the third component of the composite. The stochastic two-dimensional equations of elasticity for a material with transversely isotropic components are used. An approach where a three-component material is reduced to two-component material by replacing the fiber with interphase layer by an effective fiber with equivalent or effective elastic moduli. The dependence of the effective moduli on the volume fractions of fibers and the porosity of interphase layer is studied. © 2017, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
