On concentration galvanic elements in corrosion-mechanical cracks

Under model conditions, we establish the influence of the composition of a corrosive medium on the functioning of short-circuit galvanic elements that determine the corrosion pitting of cracks under stress. We show that, depending on the operation conditions, galvanic elements can lead both to localization and to delocalization of corrosion processes near the crack tip.
