摘要：

The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between the characteristic function of a meromorphic function f(z) with maximal deficiency sum and that of the exact difference Δcf=f(z+c)−f(z). As an application, the author also establishes an inequality on the zeros and poles for Δcf and gives an example to show that the upper bound of the inequality is accurate.
