Synthesis of 3-Trifluoromethyl-1H-benzo[f]chromenes Using Aminoglucose-Functionalized NiFe2O4@Silicapropyl as Green, Efficient, and Magnetically Recoverable Heterogeneous Catalyst

摘要
A new series of 1-aryl-2-benzoyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-benzo[f]chromenes were synthesized via multicomponent reaction of substituted benzaldehydes, naphthalen-2-ol, and 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione using aminoglucose-functionalized NiFe2O4@Silicapropyl magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) as green, efficient, and magnetically recoverable catalyst under solvent-free condition. This approach is advantageous due to high yield, short reaction time, mild solvent-free condition, and recyclability of the catalyst. The structures of the synthesized trifluoromethyl-1H-benzo[f]chromenes were confirmed by H-1 and C-13 NMR and IR spectral data and elemental analyses. Their antibacterial activity was assessed against both gram-negative (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli) and gram-positive bacteria (Micrococcus luteus, Bacillus subtilis), and most of them showed high antibacterial activity.
