摘要
Correction coefficient value is one of the important parameters and fundamental keys for estimating a modeled runoff of various regions. In this study, rainfall–runoff relationship is modeled by calibration GR1A (annual GR model) model using mathematical Newton method. This calibration allows hydrological experts to calibrate their models and critic their results for making decision. The optimal configuration of Newton–GR1A coupling for modeling yearly rainfall–runoff relationship was related by antecedent year, correction coefficient values of 1.21 and 1.69 for Boumessaoud and Seine, respectively. Newton method provides a more mathematical approach, reduces the time of modeling. At the same time, it represents high flexibility and is simple and effective.
