摘要
It is considered that almost all transcription factors stay on promoter while RNA polymerase II "clears" the promoter and "proceeds" to elongation transcribing mRNA. However, analysis of some specific transcription factors and RNA polymerase II binding profiles on DNA, detected with ChIP-seq method, revealed possibility of interaction between transcription factors and RNA polymerase II in the process of transcription elongation. © 2012 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
