摘要
In the present paper, two methods have been introduced for solving two-dimensional nonlinear mixed Volterra–Fredholm partial integro-differential equations with initial conditions. Hybrid two-dimensional Taylor polynomials and block pulse functions and operational matrices of integration and derivative have been proposed for numerical approximation. Hybrid two-dimensional Legendre polynomials and block pulse functions have been also utilized for comparison of obtained solutions. These operational matrices have been applied for two methods to reduce the given system of algebraic equations. The error analysis and convergence analysis and some numerical results are provided to describe the efficiency and validity of the schemes through the comparison errors. Several figures are plotted to establish the error analysis of the approaches presented.
