摘要
We have studied the effect of γ-radiation on the optical constants of soda-lime-silicate glasses. As the irradiation dose grows in the interval from 3.7 to 3.7 × 101 Gy, the refractive index n increases, while the optical bandgap width decreases (from 3.13 to 3.05–3.09 eV); upon irradiation to a dose of 3.7 × 102 Gy, the refractive index n drops, while the optical bandgap width Eg increases up to 3.23 eV.
