摘要
The current agrifood system is in crisis. At the core of this crisis is a constellation of escalating inequalities. Patricia Allen and Alice Brooke Wilson ask how are social movements and innovations in the alternative agrifood movements in the United States addressing these inequalities? They examine the development of local food systems in the US, in terms of the local food movement's engagement with the issue of inequality.
