Polymerization of L-lactide in polylactate was investigated in the presence of catalytic amounts of tin(II) chloride and tin(II) bis-2-ethylhexanoate. The influence of synthesis conditions on the values of the molecular mass characteristics of the resulting polyesters was demonstrated.
