摘要
Two new species of biting midges are described: Forcipomyia (Lepidohelea) buccina sp. n. from Lepchakha (Queen of Dooars), the northern part of West Bengal at the Indo-Bhutan border and Forcipomyia (Lepidohelea) biharinathensis sp. n. from Biharinath Hill, highest peak of Bankura district of West Bengal and a remnant of Chota Nagpur Plateau. The discovery of these two new species elevates the total number of species in India to 80. A key to the Oriental species of the subgenus Lepidohelea Kieffer is also designed.
