摘要：

The results of an analysis of the Inorganic Crystal Structural Database (ICSD), version 1.4.5, 2008-2, for the elements of Mendeleev’s periodic table are reported. These results show the state of the art of studying the structures of simple materials, the number of their polymorphs, and their symmetry. Several series of isostructural compounds are revealed on this basis.
