摘要
Medication overuse headache (MOH) is commonly associated with the frequent use of medication taken for symptomatic relief of headache. Prevention is the preferred intervention. In established MOH, the headache-causing medication should be withdrawn. The management approach then usually comprises 'bridging' pharmacological plus nonpharmacological support, followed by prophylaxis against underlying headache. © 2005 Adis Data Information BV.
