Abstract: A brief retrospective analysis of research of the fractal light radiation has been carried out. Simultaneously, new original results of the studying of the vortex wave beams with a fractal structure were obtained to clarify the actuality of this scientific direction. A high stability of the beams characteristics to the turbulence influence in the propagation medium is noted. © 2022.
