摘要
In engineering designs, according to various applications, different types of openings with different dimensions and shapes are created in structures. In the buckling investigation of multilayered laminated plates containing openings, the geometry of the opening, angle of fibers, the size ratio of opening to the plate, smoothness of opening corners, and rotation angle of opening are among the parameters affecting buckling. The optimal parameters for hybrid composite plates with polygonal holes to obtain the greatest critical buckling temperature under various boundary conditions and layer arrangements exposed to uniform temperature rises have been introduced and investigated in the present work using the genetic algorithm approach. As a result of this study, the critical buckling temperature of symmetric multilayer plates with an opening can be significantly increased by choosing the right shape of the opening and the right parameters related to it. In fact, the buckling temperature can be reached even higher than that of circular-shaped plates. In other words, despite expectations, the circular opening is not always the best geometry for increasing the buckling load. In some cases, by choosing the proper curvature, rotation angle, and fiber angle for a plate containing the opening, it is possible to have a higher buckling load compared to the circular opening.
