摘要
In spite of many assertions to the contrary, it is argued here that the war on terror is worthwhile, necessary and unavoidable. And that although no such war can be easily won, many successes have already been chalked up, although at a price somewhat of the cohesion of the international community. © 2004 Palgrave Macmillan Ltd.
