Abstract: Existing methods for the cleaning of finned bimetallic pipes in air-cooling systems and methods of monitoring the surface contamination of aluminum alloys are analyzed, so as to identify their deficiencies. A method is developed for fast assessment of the contamination of a finned surface. © 2022, Allerton Press, Inc.
