Seven known lignan glycosides were isolated from the leaves of Osmanthus heterophyllus: (+)-syringaresinol 4-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, (+)-syringaresinol 4, 4′-O-di-β-d-glucopyranoside, (+)-medioresinol 4, 4′-O-di-β-d-glucopyranoside, (+)-medioresinol 4-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, (+)-pinoresinol 4, 4′-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, (+)-epipinoresinol 4-O-β-d-glucopyranoside and phillyrin. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectral data.
